Collector
Full-Time Position

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for working with cardholders to resolve over limit, early delinquency, and advanced delinquency account situations. This includes negotiating the method of payment through effective verbal and written communication, locating cardholders through “skip tracing,” and documenting the process used to collect on delinquent accounts.

To qualify for these positions, applicants must have a minimum of one year collections and customer service experience, preferably in a financial services or contact centre. The ability to be flexible in an ever changing environment and work a variety of shifts would be an asset.

To be selected for an interview, candidates must demonstrate in a cover letter how they have acquired the following competencies related to the role mentioned above:

  • Strong negotiating skills;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • The ability to work in a team environment; and
  • Strong investigative and problem solving skills;
